About Mariposa Youth Basketball
Mariposa Youth Basketball was begun in 2008 in the foothill town of Mariposa just outside Yosemite National Park. MYBL serves young athletes between first and sixth grade and is open to boys and girls. The league is run by volunteers under the direction of the MYBL board.
The league offers one clinic style practice run by former MYBL players and current High School and Middle School players who serve as coaches and mentors for the children they serve. All games are played on Saturdays at Mariposa County High School and are officiated and coached by the same High School volunteers.
